PinkNotes® Plus Instructions on how to upgrade from PNP v3.0 (or 2.0) to v3.5

Master Upgrade
1. Download the PNP v3.5 installation (http://www.alphamedia.net/products/pnp/v30/download.htm)
2. Go to the computer with the PNP Master
3. Shut-down the PNP Master
 -If this computer also has a PNP Client, close that as well
- If this computer is running Win 9x/Me click Ctrl+Alt+Del then select the PinkNotes® Plus Master and click the End Task button to shut-down the master.
- If this computer is running Win NT/2000/XP click Ctrl+Alt+Del and then go into the Task Manager. Select the Applications tab, then select the PinkNotes® Plus Master and click the End Task button to shut-down the master.
4. Run the PNP v3.5 installation program (pnp351d9.exe) and select to install the Master (and Client if necessary)
5. Select to install the files in the same folder that you have PNP v3.0 installed
6. When the installation is complete reboot the computer.
7. When the computer is done rebooting the PNP Master (and Client) will startup automatically
8. That completes the upgrade of the Master computer


Client Upgrade
1. You must now upgrade all of the Clients to v3.5
2. Go to any computer you have a PNP Client on and first close the Client
3. Run the PNP v3.5 installation program (pnp351d9.exe) and select to install only the Client
4. Select to install the files in the same folder that you have PNP v3.0 installed
5. When the installation is complete reboot the computer
6. When the computer is done rebooting the PNP Client will startup automatically
7. This needs to be done on each PNP Client

NOTE: If you already have a registration code for PNP v3.0, that same registration info will work with PNP v3.5. The PNP v3.5 installation will upgrade all of your settings and messages from v3.0. You will not lose any data from PNP v3.0.
