PinkNotes® Plus Instructions on how to upgrade from PNP v3.5 to v4

Master Upgrade
1. Download the PNP v4 installation (http://www.alphamedia.net/products/pnp/v40/download.php)
2. Go to the computer with the PNP Master
3. Shut-down the PNP Master.  If this computer also has a PNP Client, close that as well
4. Run the PNP v4 installation program (PNP470d3.exe) and select to install the Master (and Client if necessary)
5. Select to install PNP into the same folder that you have v3.5 installed
6. When the installation is complete the PNP Master (and Client) will startup automatically
7. The first time you startup the PNP v4 Master you will be asked if you would like to upgrade your logs from v3.5. Select Yes.
8. That completes the upgrade of the Master computer


Client Upgrade
1. You must now upgrade all of the Clients to v4
2. Go to any computer you have a PNP Client on and first close the Client
3. Run the PNP v4 installation program (PNP470d3.exe) and select to install only the Client
4. Select to install PNP into the same folder that you have v3.5 installed
5. When the installation is complete the PNP Client will startup automatically
6. The first time you start up the PNP v4 client you will be asked if you would like to upload your v3.5 logs to the PNP v4 Master. Select Yes.
7. This needs to be done on each PNP Client

NOTE: If you already have a registration code for PNP v3.5, that registration info will not work with PNP v4. You will need to upgrade your v4 registration code after the 30 day trial period. The PNP v4 installation will upgrade all of your settings and messages from v3.5. You will not lose any data from PNP v3.5.
